A performative intervention in the exhibition We’ve Never Been Closer, exploring the reality of early-capitalist Slovakia. A bold, utopian, and self-aware act, blending poetic euphoria with post-revolutionary doubt. A performance about unexpected responsibility, a national inferiority complex, and the strange joy and confusion of being surprised by freedom while trying to rebuild the world.
We’re closer than ever. We finally see that icons are only iconic from afar.
