Promises that fade, words that fail, positions that shift, decisions that change. The performance follows the motif of a journey – chasing the illusion of permanence and the reasons we keep changing our minds. Built around the dramaturgical line Best Before, the concept explores the phenomenon of stability investigating what it means to stay solid in a world that won’t stop moving.
Created in collaboration with visual artist Jan Matýsek, the piece blends lavish costumes with fiercely restless physical expression. Set against the backdrop of the former House of Food and Vegetables, the performance thrives on the tension between the space’s generous glass-and-steel architecture and the performers’ volatile, visceral presence and almost frantic energy.
