What do you answer when death knocks on your door? The performance relates in both content and form to a conversation, to the relationship between a speaker and a listener, to the power of the spoken word and verbal utterance. The work oscillates between live installation, sound art, hörspiel, literary reading and naturalistic psychodrama.
In the personal, warm, and inviting space of Café Kaprál Residency, the performance delves into our personal ties with the places we call home. Moving through the rhythms of daily life — laundry, cooking, reading, sleeping, knitting, tidying — it draws a quiet but striking parallel between our bodies and the rooms we inhabit.
