Mutant

!Finale! of the 2015/2016 season

Special event held in collaboration with FAIT Gallery as a conclusion of D’epog ensemble’s sixth season.

A mutant performance inspired by the DIY triptych. A hybrid fusion of monodramas splicing motifs of the trash opera Ich Bin Solo, video installation Glitch Bitch and drama production Sakurambo. The first and simultaneously the last night freestyle on the themes of identity, loneliness and pride. The event will also host the Slovak new-media artist Jakub Pišek. His production samples diverse A/V materials into an oversaturated information flow pushing the limits of identifiability of its component sources. The persona of Turbosampler tests the reception capacities of the audience and indulges in a carefree nonsense aesthetic. With irony, sense of humour and dance energy.

Kubriel (Jakub Pišek)

A Slovak new media artist known for projects like Hallogenerator, Turbosampler, and Barcode DJs. He treats technology not just as a tool, but as a playground and a source of inspiration. His work moves freely between video, computer graphics, installation, performance, and music — always driven by curiosity, interactivity, and a hands-on, DIY spirit.
