An Exquisite Gala Evening with Zdeněk Polák in the Resplendent Fresco Hall

Step into an unforgettable night of musical splendor as the illustrious Zdeněk Polák, soloist of the D’epog Theatre, takes the stage for a breathtaking performance of arias from the contemporary opera Ich Bin Solo. Accompanied by the brilliant pianist Tereza Plešáková, he will be joined by an exceptional constellation of voices: the ethereal Jana Vondrů (lyric soprano), the captivating Laura Uhorskaiová (alto), the commanding Aleš Janiga (baritone), and the luminous Jan Faltýnek (tenor).

Set within the historic grandeur of the Fresco Hall at Zelný trh, in the very heart of Brno, this evening promises an immersive experience where time, space, and sound converge. The hall, radiating its unique genius loci, will shimmer under Veronika Švecová’s exquisitely crafted video décor, creating a feast for the eyes to match the music that graces the ears.

The concert will feature compositions by the visionary Slovak composer and sound artist Alexandra Cihanská Machová, whose daring and evocative music brings the evening to life with both intensity and elegance.

Guests will be treated to the refined hospitality of Učňovské středisko Nová Svratka, ensuring the senses are indulged beyond the music itself. The evening’s flow will be masterfully guided by the sophisticated presence of moderator Janet Prokešová, weaving narrative, music, and spectacle into a gala of rare distinction.

Join us for an evening where artistry, grandeur, and celebration intertwine—a night worthy of the very heights of contemporary music and performance.
