SUMMER SCHOOL
TO BE OR TO BE: The sixth edition of the annual intensive summer workshop, led by the D’Epog ensemble and director Lucia Repašská, took place in the open-air urban setting of the bus terminal in Topoľčany.
The workshop focused on exploring space as a dramaturgical foundation for radical authorial expression and the creation of extreme performative situations within the interface of everyday life. The workshop culminated in a public performance by the D’Epog ensemble together with the participants.
Participation offered a unique opportunity to gain in-depth insight into the creative processes of the D’Epog ensemble, including the dramaturgy of space, personal courage, and the exploration of existence in hyperbolized, extreme forms of reality—approaches consistently developed and thematized in both D’Epog’s educational and stage work. This hands-on experience also serves as the ideal foundation for fostering long-term collaborative relationships.
