SUMMER SCHOOL
The fourth edition of the annual intensive summer workshop, led by the D’Epog ensemble and director Lucia Repašská, focused on the fundamental dramaturgical principles and strategies of devised theatre, including concept development, context, composition, interpretation, and the use of ready-made objects. The workshop’s guest instructor was Sodja Lotker, a renowned theatre teacher and dramaturge.
The workshop offered participants a unique opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the D’Epog ensemble’s creative processes. Under the individual guidance of the instructors, participants explored the fundamentals of performer training and experienced the process of shaping meaning—from the emergence of a psycho-physical impulse to the realization of a fixed action. This hands-on approach not only provides a thorough introduction to the ensemble’s work but also serves as the ideal pathway for establishing long-term collaborative relationships.
