SUMMER SCHOOL
The first edition of an intensive summer workshop led by the D’Epog ensemble and director Lucia Repašská focused on the fundamental principles of the performer’s psycho-physical training. The guest instructor was Róbert Nižník — an actor, musician, and teacher whose work moves between physical, dance, and musical theatre.
During the week-long workshop, participants had the opportunity, under the individual guidance of the instructors, to explore the basics of acting training and to experience the process of shaping meaning — from the emergence of a psycho-physical impulse to the fixation of an action.
This hands-on introduction to the ensemble’s methods offered a comprehensive insight into the creative approach of the D’Epog collective and served as the best way to establish long-term collaboration.
